Whew! I really can not believe that summer is officially coming to an end for us. It’s been such a great summer and I’m so glad our family made so many wonderful memories. I decided to document this summer from my iPhone Instagram app…just because I knew I would always have my iPhone handy!
Here is our summer in summary!
Super quiet on the Amii Wroblewski Photography homefront, I know. This summer has seen RECORD heat (what did we hit….like 43 straight days of over 100 degrees?!?!) and with record belly proportions on me!
We have enjoyed a leisurely summer full of tons of memories, laughter and love before this sweet boy joins us in September. So, it is obvious that I’m more or less on maternity leave until an unappointed date in October.
My maternity leave right now just entails not shooting in this ridiculous heat. I’m still taking on consultations for those that just want more information on a senior session with me and then we are just booking late October. Which, to give y’all insight, is a great time to shoot! I shot several sessions late October last year and we were still in the 90’s!
And of course, I can’t just leave this post without a picture! One taken of Lawyer and I last night at the lake…we are SO blessed to live so close to the lake and take a late evening dip if we so choose!

It’s about time I start blogging my spring seniors!! Haley’s session was just about canceled due to impending storms and high winds but we decided to go for it and if we needed to re-schedule we would. Well, not only did the sun come out right as we began shooting but the wind provided some really pretty hair movement!

First off, congratulations to the 2011 Senior Class that is graduating over the next few weeks! I can not wait to see what life has in store for y’all and I’m so thankful to have gotten to know each and every one of my seniors this past year!
With the 2011 Seniors graduating, that means it’s time for the 2012 Senior Class to have their chance to shine!!! I wanted to do a bit of educating on a summer/fall senior session vs. a spring session. So I did a Top 3 Reasons to have your session this summer/fall!
Top 3 Reasons to Book a Session for This Summer:
-Weather! While it may be HOT, the chances of rain are next to none which is a good thing for a booked senior session! Spring is brutal when it comes to the threat of storms on YOUR day!
-Availability! With summer, you can book a week day or a weekend date! You don’t have to worry about whether or not I can squeeze you in before graduation or the fact that you don’t even get out of school until 4pm during the week.
-Stress Free! Summer time usually means that you don’t have much on your schedule besides maybe a summer job. Spring means you are usually in the middle of all the stressful details with school and extra-curricular activities.
I strongly encourage y’all to book your session for June or July! And if the above reasons are not enough, how about a $50 Visa Gift Card when you book your session between June 1st and July 31st? Perfect to use at a salon to get your hair styled for your session or to get a new outfit!
