So who is the face behind the camera? It’s me…Amii! I could tell you the typical stuff like how I started taking pictures because of my older son and that I’m a senior photographer that shoots on location…I mean, that is all true BUT what fun would that be if that’s all I shared?!
Here’s some fun facts about me:
-I’ve been with my husband for almost a decade (married for almost 8 years) and have two wonderful boys.
-LOVE my hot, Texas summers!
-I don’t own a car…and I live in the suburbs…and I’ve lived to tell about it!
-Cooking is my passion but cleaning is so over-rated.
-I have never owned a coffee maker or a toaster…
-But I drink homemade coffee every day…ha!
-I’ve bungee-jumped twice in my life.
-I tried out for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and shockingly (or not…ha!) didn’t make it past the first cut. It was a “bucket list” thing to do for sure!
-LOVE Sonic Route 44 ice water (yep…water)
-Always thought I was blonde but recently discovered I really have brown hair (total shocker by everyone in my family)!
-I’m known as “Mrs. Wizard” because I know a little about a lot of random things….or as my husband says, I *think* I know about a lot of things!
-I live down the street from my parents where I grew up.
-I was on the Marcus HS Marquette Drill Team (dance for those that aren’t from TX) and if you are on drill team, you know you live and breathe it.
-I’m obsessed with my iPad…seriously, I need an intervention!
-I love wearing fake eyelashes but only to special events.
I could go on and on and on about my quirkiness but one thing that I know almost everyone that encounters/knows me will tell you is that I’m honest, loyal and observant. I take in everything around me, which is why I think I love photography so much. My goal is to be observant with my clients and capture them with honesty. I see beauty in everything, even the way the light hits weeds!
