If you’ve ever visited my Facebook page or my blog, you’ve probably seen Morgan’s gorgeous self before! Morgan was a rep for me this past year and I had the pleasure of photographing her throughout the year (one of the perks of being a rep with AWP!) and getting to know her better! I’m so excited for her as she ventures off to college next year and can’t wait to see what Arkansas has waiting for her!
Morgan knew that she wanted an urban session in downtown so after taking a look at the outfits she had in mind, I knew exactly where to take her. We got such a HUGE variety out of her two hour session and really didn’t venture outside of a one block area! I really do my best to find a versatile location that will offer up lots of interesting colors, textures, and of course, beautiful light!

Good luck in school next year, Morgan!!

Dear little boy,
I was hoping to get some pictures of you and your brother together but it seems that 8 year old boys become quite elusive around a camera these days! So it’s just going to be you today but of course, that doesn’t mean that “bubba” isn’t right there in the mix of it all.
First off, when did you become a little boy?! No longer do you look and act like a baby: you get around by yourself, you let us know through your hand gestures and own little language what you want, you help yourself to food in the pantry (much to my dismay sometimes!) and you even feed yourself. Such a big boy!

Boy, did I win the lottery with a kid that will eat anything! I’m even impressed with how well you use your utensils while eating!

Hmm…well, clearly we have a few things to work on! Jock, thank you for keeping us on our toes and reminding us to enjoy life (and our yogurt)!
Love,
Mommy

Its such a hard transition when they go from baby to little boy! What a cutie!
He’s grown up so much, Amii! That last picture of him made me laugh…so cute!!

To my sweet, sweet baby,
This will be short and sweet but I just wanted to tell you what an absolute blessing it is to be your mother. Thank you for being such a happy little soul full of laughter and smiles! I can’t believe how quickly you are leaving behind any trace of being a baby but I know that you are growing into an energetic little boy!
We love you so much!
Mommy
